In a significant development for the community of Ndoni in Rivers State, a new primary healthcare centre has been officially commissioned in a grand ceremony. This landmark event saw the presence of His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, Governor of Rivers State, who played a pivotal role in unveiling the healthcare facility to the public. The Health Centre was built by former Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency, Sir Dr. Peter Odili CON, GSSRS, and handed over to Rivers State Government.
Among the honoured guests was Prof. Chizindu A. Alikor, the esteemed Chief Medical Director of the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital, who was present to witness the inauguration of the centre. This addition to Ndoni’s healthcare infrastructure is expected to improve access to medical services for the local populace enormously.
