Regular activities in the office of the Chief Medical Director (CMD) Prof. Chizindu A. Alikor Chief Medical Director of the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital, Port Harcourt from Monday 4th to Friday 8th September 2023, running through working days of the week.

1. THE CMD INAUGURATES MEDICAL OXYGEN TASK FORCE COMMITTEE IN RSUTH:
The committee on Medical Oxygen Task Force was inaugurated by the Ag. Chief Medical Director (CMD), Prof. Chizindu A. Alikor, to oversee the operations of the oxygen plant at the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital. The committee is in charge of ensuring that various Hospital units have constant supply of piped medical oxygen.

2. THE CMD MEETS WITH ACCOUNTANTS IN RSUTH:
The Accountants at the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital (RSUTH) participated in an interactive session with the Ag. Chief Medical Director, Prof. Chizindu A. Alikor, and other members of Management of RSUTH to address certain crucial concerns and ensure better service delivery in the hospital.
3. THE CMD ATTENDS THE RSUTH MONTHLY PRAYER AND FASTING:
The Ag. Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital (RSUTH), Prof. Chizindu A. Alikor, as well as other management members, participated in the hospital’s monthly prayer and fasting this week. Prayers were strategically said for the hospital’s management, staff, and patients.

4 THE CMD PRESIDES OVER RSUTH HMC MEETING:
The Chief Medical Director, Prof. Chizindu A. Alikor, presided over the meeting of the Hospital Management Committee (HMC) of the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital, where key management issues pertaining to the development of the Hospital were discussed.

5. THE CMD RECEIVES THE ASSOCATION OF RESIDENT DOCTORS UPTH BRANCH ON A COURTESY VISIT:
The Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) from the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, led by the Chapter President Dr. Ibe Arthur Onuah, paid the Ag. Chief Medical Director, Prof. Chizindu A. Alikor, a courtesy visit to his office to show their support for his leadership and to discuss potential collaborations.
