COURTESY VISIT TO THE CHIEF MEDICAL DIRECTOR (CMD), RIVERS STATE UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITAL (RSUTH)

Earlier today 24th April, 2024, delegates from the Rivers State University Medical Students Association had the honor of meeting with the Chief Medical Director of the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital. Amidst warm exchanges, the President extended heartfelt congratulations to the CMD on his recent confirmation of appointment as Chief Medical Director, RSUTH.

During the cordial discussions, the President highlighted pressing challenges faced by medical students, particularly regarding prompt access to healthcare, especially for clinical students. In a proactive stance, the President proposed viable solutions for the hospital to consider intervening in these matters.

Various other pertinent issues were raised and deliberated upon. In response, the CMD expressed his unwavering support for the association and pledged to address the concerns brought forward. His commitment to fostering collaboration and addressing student needs was reassuring and inspiring.
