In a significant move towards prioritizing healthcare professionals, the Government of Rivers State has successfully implemented the 2023 Consolidated Medical Salary Structure (CONMESS) for doctors at the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital (RSUTH). Under the dynamic leadership of His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara GSSRS, the Executive Governor of Rivers State, this implementation underscores the government’s commitment to the welfare of medical doctors. The 2023 CONMESS ensures that doctors at RSUTH receive competitive and standardized salaries, fostering a conducive environment for medical practitioners to deliver optimal healthcare services to the people of Rivers State
Moreover, the government has taken a laudable step by addressing the allowances of Honorary Senior Registrars and Honorary Consultants at RSUTH.
