Governor of Rivers State Approves Employment of Staff at RSUTH

The Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara GSSRS, has given his official approval for the employment of suitable and qualified Rivers Youths, especially medical officers in Rivers State University Teaching Hospital (RSUTH). This decision reflects the government’s dedication to bolstering the healthcare workforce and enhancing healthcare service delivery within the state.

The announcement was warmly received by the Chief Medical Director of RSUTH, Prof Chizindu A. Alikor, who expressed gratitude to Governor Fubara for his unwavering support. Prof Alikor commended the Governor for prioritizing the needs of the healthcare sector and for taking proactive steps to address staffing requirements at RSUTH.

Furthermore, Prof. Alikor extended his appreciation to the Honourable Commissioner for Health, Dr. Adaeze Oreh for her exceptional leadership and guidance in navigating the challenges facing the healthcare system.
