BREAKTHROUGH IN BURNS AND PLASTIC UNIT AT RSUTH WITH NEW DERMATONE MACHINE AND MEDICAL DIODE LASER MACHINE FOR SPECIALIZED SKIN CARE
In a significant development, the Burns and Plastic Unit at Rivers State University Teaching Hospital (RSUTH) has received a state-of-the-art dermatome machine and diode for advanced skin harvest specialized skin care.
The Acting Chief Medical Director of the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital, Prof. Chizindu Akubudike Alikor, while making the presentation stated that the technological upgrade is poised to enhance the unit’s capabilities, marking a pivotal moment in the hospital’s commitment to providing top-notch care for burn victims and patients requiring specialized skin treatments.
Dr. Oti Nimi Aria, Head of the Burns and Plastic Unit, expressed gratitude as the unit welcomed the cutting-edge equipment. The acknowledgement was extended to the Acting Chief Medical Director of RSUTH, Prof. Chizindu Akubudike Alikor, for his passion towards the growth and development of RSUTH.
