The CMD, Prof Chizindu Alikor , made this known to Governor Sir Siminalayi Fubara in a meeting he had with the leadership of the Association of Resident Doctors, Rivers State University Teaching Hospital on the 6th of November in Government House, Port Harcourt.

The Governor in a mark of total dedication to developing the healthcare ecosystem in Rivers State, approved:

1. Immediate implementation of Skipping for Medical Doctors.
2. Enrolment of all healthcare workers into the Rivers State Contributory Health Protection Program.
3. Payment of Residency Grant for Resident Doctors.
4. Payment of Adjusted CONMESS and CONHESS 2023 arrears.
5. Payment of Accoutrement allowance for 2023, 2024 & 2025 for medical doctors.
6. Donation of bus to ARD, RSUTH.
   The Chief Medical Director, on behalf of Management and staff of the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital, expresses deep appreciation also to the Hon Commissioner for Health, Rivers State.
