In commemoration of World Sight Day 2026, the Department of Ophthalmology, Rivers State University Teaching Hospital (RSUTH) will be holding a Free Eye Screening Exercise for all staff of RSUTH.
This year’s theme, “Love your eyes,” is a call to prioritize eye health and prevent avoidable blindness.
The screening is scheduled as follows:

The event is hosted by the Chief Medical Director, Prof. Chizindu A. Alikor.
All staff are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to get their eyes checked. Early detection saves sight!
