The outgoing year marked a period of measurable growth for Rivers State University Teaching Hospital. Key achievements included the introduction and expansion of Newborn Screening Services, accreditation of specialisation programmes, strengthened training and supportive supervision for healthcare workers, improved clinical service delivery, and active participation in the state health insurance enrolment programme, advancing access to quality healthcare. Improved staff welfare. The hospital also recorded progress in infrastructure development and operational efficiency, with a sustained focus on patient-centred care.

I extend my sincere gratitude to our patients and their families for the trust and confidence you place in Rivers State University Teaching Hospital. Your cooperation, patience, and feedback remain vital in shaping our services and motivating our teams to continually improve the quality of care we provide.

We are grateful to the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Adaeze Oreh and the Rivers State Ministry of Health for the continuous support and guidance, and we sincerely thank His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara GSSRS, the Executive Governor of Rivers State, for his unwavering commitment to the growth of healthcare in our state.

Through collective effort and commitment, RSUTH continued to advance despite prevailing challenges. These accomplishments reflect a shared determination to improve outcomes, strengthen systems, and uphold high standards of care.
