Rivers State University Teaching Hospital (RSUTH) has announced the availability of comprehensive blood component services.

The hospital’s blood bank now offers a range of services which includes

–Whole blood
–Packed red cells
–Leuko-reduced red cells
–Platelet Rich Plasma
–Platelet concentrate (Pooled platelets and aphersis platelet)
-Fresh Frozen plasma (FFP)
Cryoprecipitate

This development is expected to enhance patient care and management of various medical conditions requiring blood transfusions.
