There was widespread jubilation at the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital (RSUTH) today as young Medical Doctors and health workers received their employment letters. This momentous occasion follows the approval of their appointments by His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara GSSRS, the Executive Governor of Rivers State, on March 4, 2024.
After a rigorous selection process, interviews were conducted on September 30, 2024, ensuring that only the most qualified applicants were chosen. The new employees, comprising a diverse group of medical practitioners and healthcare support staff, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Governor for his commitment to human capital development, employment opportunities, and youth empowerment, quality healthcare healthcare and many other developmental initiatives.
The atmosphere was electric as recipients celebrated not only their new positions but also the positive impact these roles will have on the healthcare system in Rivers State.
